- December 2007 331 German PCB-designers obtained the IPC Certificate CID. The courses were held by the FED entirely in German. Also 59 CID+ and FED- Designers got their certificat.
- 2007 FED has started a German WIKI about PCB-Layout at FED-Wiki.
- The IPC started an online searchable list of their standards at their web site under IPC Catalog/Bookstore and there Product search.
- The JPCA an IPC partner from Japan has written an essay about the future of the Electronic Circuit Industry till 2012.
