Designing new advanced high speed design you need to use an other
approche than just verifying the errors at the end of the design cycle.
The focus of your thoughts must move towards the start. Electrical
engineering must participate in the setup phase and must define the basic
topology for critical parts of the design. Doing EMI and high speed there
is an other methode aviable from leading software vendors. The idea is to
first find the needed topology and run a simulation and timing analisys to
ensure the functionality, than start the logical design for the functions
of the new system. Loading the topology info into the logical design and
carrying this forward into the physical PCB design will save cost intesive
redesigns and time.
For your system design challenges you need help from experienced system
designers, who develope for you the best design environment.
